There's the good idea to make a deckbuilding NSFW game. Don't want to guess what the hell items combine for crafting? PAY US! Want this outfit piece (that you still need to grind cash and resource to get)? PAY US! Accidentally clicked on anything locked behind a patreon login? HERE'S THE LINK! It's just annoying that it's thrown up everywhere in the game. So, a lot of games will have a link to the developer's patreon (or other site) and a thank you hall for donors.
There's relatively little to tell you what the fuck to do once you reach rank 2, I was completely unable to figure out how to advance, which I think is tied into crafting to advance the story, which leads into the biggest issue. There's little to indicate what are collection points for resources. The map system is basically screenshots of RPGmaker maps (literally, you can easily recognize default rpgmaker assets there) that you move on in a grid. Many quests and crafting amount to "gather 5 bear asses" and of course it's all down to chance if the item you need actually drops. It doesn't look much like 2 3D models interacting. The animations (that I saw for the female PC) mostly look like a couple of flat images sliding over each other.
It'll pull from other item stacks first though, which is the only positive about that. It also fails to tell you that the first item in your inventory (upper left corner) can be used in combat, and only that item. Unfortunately there's some UI issues in that the developer's decided that your stamina (used to play cards) needs to be yellow text on a slightly lighter yellow background, so I completely missed the indicator for a little while. Not too hard to win most fights if you think at all about what to use based on the enemy action, I only lost 2 times total due to having to learn to deal with the mechanics the enemies used (stacking attack boosts are a pain). It's a fairly simple card battle system, draw a set of cards and you can use them to either attack or defend against enemy attacks. Even then a lot of the enemy models are (at least partially) default assets. Well, the 3D models are ok, and that's about the only positive I can think of. I do not recommend to spent the time on this one. Glad that deleting the game doesn't need to Patreon it first. If you want this - Patreon it - if you want that - Patreon it also. Beside of that - i couldn't get rid of the feeling that this is Patreon heavy initiative. I mean that MC is paying with GOLD and thats not enough to buy equipment? I mean seriously? You have to collect the herbs and other items for a vendor also? And what this is a blacksmiths - that they do need to make the items on your own eyes at the shop and after making them - sell it to you? What a nonsense is that. The system to pay for items with a gold AND ALSO with collected items on maps is just terrible.
The game is sluggish when displaying movement of the MC on a map. Fills in no time making it impossible to collect more of items. There is also limited inventory space which is to low for the amount of items you will collect, like mushrooms, herbs, etc. To the point that i just lost any interest in going deeper into another locations. The repeatable content makes it boring in no time.
